Terminology for Safety Workwear

Workwear Terms:
FR Clothing: FR clothing refers to any garments that are specifically designed to protect the wearers from flames and thermal injury.
AR Clothing: The letters “AR” stand for Arc Rated, and made their debut in the recent revision of NFPA 70E: ALL AR clothing is flame resistant (FR), but not all FR rated clothing has been Arc Rated. 
High-Visibility Clothing: sometimes shortened to hi vis or hi viz, is any clothing worn that is highly luminescent in its natural matt property or a color that is easily discernible from any background. 
Anti-Static Clothing: made of special antistatic fabric. The fabric is woven with conductive fibers, which make the fabric antistatic.
Chemical Protective Clothing: is clothing worn to shield those who work with chemicals from the effects of chemical hazards that can cause injuries on the job. 
Waterproof Clothing: Made of waterproof fabric. Waterproof fabrics are fabrics that are, inherently, or have been treated to become, resistant to penetration by water and wetting.
Winter Protection Clothin.
Winterproof Clothing: Made of winterproof fabric. These fabric is coated with a windproof coating, which effectively prevents cold air from entering the body.
